Every schema is different. Find a partner who’s built yours before

Written by Ethan Lewis

Every team that wants AI to perform valuable work on its content runs into the same issue first: the content has to be structured around how the business works, so people, workflows, and agents can act on it.

That work is never generic. A retailer's product catalog, a bank's regulatory content, and a media company's archive each need a different schema, different workflows, and different guardrails. Sanity is built to be customized. Often, the people shaping the experiences are our agency partners.

Agencies have been building on Sanity since the beginning. Today we're making it easier to find them, and easier to become one, with the Sanity Agency Partner Program and a new partner directory.

Looking for a partner?

Sanity is a platform you design to fit to your business, and a good partner helps you get there faster. They bring experience from projects like yours, know how to model content for your domain, and can take you from first schema to launch, then keep improving your content operations after that.

Partners in our directory are certified on Sanity and work alongside our team, so you get one coordinated group rather than a vendor and an agency pulling in different directions. Gold and Silver badges show which partners work most closely with us.

“Sanity is hands-down one of the best platforms our team has ever worked with, giving us the enterprise-grade foundation to win and scale large accounts together. From co-selling and strategic deal acceleration to deep alignment across marketing and partnerships, we're always looking out for each other, and we're just getting started!”
-Ryan Bloms, Director of Partnerships at Codal

Partner spotlight

The revenue intelligence company Gong worked with Sanity partner, Webstacks, migrate and redesign the website onto Sanity, as well as shipping AI-generated blog summaries and AI-powered translations. Together they built its website on Sanity with a content model that mirrors its information architecture, a Figma design system linked to a small set of reusable components, and AI-assisted French and German translation.

Webstacks led the redesign and migration and built the design system. Sanity supplied the migration toolkit, which let Gong fix about 200 redirects in one update instead of rerunning the migration. Both teams worked from a three-part framework: model the business in structured content, automate manual work, and use that foundation across every channel. Read the full case study.

Want to become a partner?

More teams are moving from managing content to running AI content operations. They want content modeled so agents can use it, workflows that cut out manual steps, and one structured back end that powers their website, their apps, and their agents. That's a new kind of project, and it needs people who can design schemas, customize the Studio, and build automation with Functions and the Agent API.

“Code and Theory has been building on Sanity's 'content is data' thesis since long before the AI era made it obvious we'd need it. We rely on them as a partner because the plumbing for agentic content operations already exists in their architecture, not on a roadmap; which provide our clients future-ready advantages.
-David DiCamillo, CTO at Code and Theory

Sanity doesn't sell implementation services. We don't compete with partners for delivery, and the customer relationship stays with you.

We sell alongside you, with account mapping, deal registration and joint pursuit. We help your team get certified through Sanity Learn, with a partner sandbox and live sessions with our solution architects. And we market together, through the directory, co-marketing and marketing development funds.

Joining is free, and every partner starts at Registered.

Why partners matter to us

The best Sanity projects come from people who understand the business they're building for. We focus on the AI Content Operating System: the Content Lake, the Studio, GROQ, Content Agent, and everything that makes structured content useful to people and agents. Partners focus on fitting our infrastructure to each customer.

“The marketing and product leaders we partner with know that the best digital experiences now start with content that's structured, clean, and ready to be reused across channels, across products, and increasingly by AI. That's what Sanity enables. For our clients, it means content that a marketing team can ship faster, a product team can scale confidently, and both can trust the same foundation as they build toward an AI-first future. That's why partnering with Sanity was a strategic priority for O3.”
-Justin Handler, Managing Director at O3 World

Partners also make the product better. They see more real-world implementations than anyone, and what they tell us shapes what we build next.

What's next

The move to AI content operations happens one schema, one workflow and one agent at a time, and most of that work happens with a partner in the room. Moving forward we will be adding more agencies in the directory, sharing spotlights on what partners are building, and hosting in-person workshops.

Agencies can become a partner today. Teams looking for help can find a partner. Questions go to partnerships@sanity.io.
